The Original Nuclear Monster Unleashed in Japan
GODZILLA!!
Godzilla at Fukishima 2011
In
1954, 9 years after the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and long before
the release of atomic nightmares such as Dr Strangelove
and Fail Safe, Toho, a Japanese film company produced the first
and still best known blatant graphic metaphor for the nuclear monster
unleashed.
